CarComplaints.com Notes: As long as catastrophic engine failure at under 60,000 miles is the top owner complaint, it'll be pretty hard to recommend the 2012 Sorento.
The paint is peeling on the driver side door, and on top of the car above windshield. I had the top painted for $350. Very awful paint job by Kia. This is why people just don't trust this company. I'm hoping to submit a claim and see if they will reimburse me. If not, I will never buy a Kia again.
My Sorento vehicle is pearl white, I had started to see some of the paint peel off and thought that it could be from little stones that might hit is while running through the streets. I took it to a detailing cleanup and they informed me that there sere several places in the car including the top and the trunk door had started to inflate and that it would eventually peel off.They told me that this is a manufacturing defect.
I am about to finish paying my car and I would want this problem fixed as soon as possible.
I was very happy and now that I was to finally pay it off this happens. I am very disappointed!
