A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

Headlamp Multifunction Switch set to "AUTO", while using the Turn Signal (either direction) the Headlights will suddenly TURN OFF... while driving at night this is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND DISORIENTING... ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. To correct this, I had to jiggle the switch or turn it to Manual ON.

daytime driving lights turn on after vehicle completely off, hours later and can drain the battery if not caught in time. also while driving at night, lights go completely off by themselves and have to manually try to turn on, very dangerous and someone is going to die if not recalled.

The contact owns a 2017 Kia Sorento. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the headlamps failed to remain illuminated with the headlamp switch in the auto position. The turn signals were also inoperable. The contact stated that headlight suggested message was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the headlamps operated as designed with the headlamp switch in the on position. The vehicle was taken to greenway Kia West located at (8701 E colonial dr, orlando, fl 32817) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the multi-function switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.
