TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: SERVICE ACTION: REAR CORNER RADAR UNIT BODY SEALER INSPECTION & REPAIR (SA503) - This bulletin provides information to inspect both rear (LH & RH) corner radar unit mounting body sealer surface on some 2021-2022MY Sorento (MQ4a) vehicles equipped with rear Blind Spot Detection (BSD) System, produced from November 30, 2021 through June 30, 2022, which may have excess body sealer applied during assembly causing improper mounting angle of the rear corner radar unit. An improperly mounted rear radar unit may cause the vehicle to exhibit a MIL 'ON' with DTC C270954. Follow the procedure outlined in this publication to inspect and, if necessary, file down the seam sealer behind the bracket.
