My Nissan 350Z the gas gauge is currently not working. I can fill my car to capacity and within a day the light indicator for empty is on. I was informed that there was a recall for this problem and I never received a notice.
The fuel gauge en the speedoometer does not tell the correct amount of gas in the car. It says there is fuel when the care is actually empty causing me to get out of gas for several times. I took it to the dealership and they told me the only way to repare it is to change the whole speedometer, and that the cost of it is almost a $1,000. This is a lot of trouble for me because I have to fill up the car every 2 to 3 days so the car doesn, T leave me with out fuel.
