Sunroof exploded in carwash. Explosion was so violent it bent the framing around sunroof. The vehicle was in the drying portion of the carwash. The carwash has incident on videotape but has not allowed me to view it as of this correspondence. The sunroof had no damage prior to this incident. Temp outside was approx 25 degrees and the heater was on inside the vehicle which may have contributed to the incident.

An estimate of record was originated at Toyota of North charlotte after the collision. The air bags never deployed before, during or after the collision despite the multiple damages and my minor injury. There has been an on-going airbag diagnostic code that has been monitored during other general maintenance repairs that were completed. It has not been brought to my attention if the vehicle contains a defective air bag system. I am trying to obtain the Nissan part numbers/descriptions for the original airbags within my 2006 Armada. The dealership stated that they were unable to provide this data even though the vehicle was purchased, repaired and inspected at that lake norman-cornelius location.

I hit a deer on July 5th 2014. My front bumper pushed in on my driver side wheel. Cracked my grill. Broke out a head light on driver side. Bent the driver fender and drivers door and my airbag did not deploy. A week and a half later my airbag light comes on..... I carried it to Nissan and they said it was not wreck related. Spoke with my insurance company and was told that this is a common issue with Nissan Armada. I need a reliable vehicle and I cant take the chance of traveling with hazardous restraints.. I currently have a reject sticker and I do not feel responsible for repairs.

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the rear lift gate opened independently. The failure recurred three times over a period of two weeks. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, who diagnosed that the handle mechanism needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

While driving, the following indicator lights came on: Vdc, ABS and brake. When I applied the brakes, there was a horrible grinding noise which scared me to death. I continued on cautiously and fortunately it did not make the same sound the next time I braked. The Nissan service department said it was a sensor that went bad and the ABS brake system that possibly was bad. I paid over $500 to get it fixed and had to sign an agreement that what they did may not fix it, and if so, the brake booster would then need to be replaced at a cost of $1000. I found out afterwards that there had been a recall of the very same issue but not on my vehicle because the VIN did not match the recall. Very suspect.

My complaint it about the 2006 Armada, the windshield post are to thick, they obstruct your view to much. My wife and child all most lost their life's pulling out of a side road, the windshield post will hide an entire mac truck! I myself noticed it the first time I almost ran over some kids on bikes, we have come close to heaving at least 10 wrecks. I want my money that I paid for this vehicle back because it is not safe I know we are not the only family that is having this problem.you should check in to this for us. I thought their was a limit on how wide the windshield post could be.
