Disabled family with a terminal heart patient deaf blind son
Out first brand new vehicle, and it left the dealership bad taste in our mouths
Well over 13 times to dealer (Nissan of Macomb, Nissan of Troy), to fix the many faults.
Many hours waiting for nothing to be done..
9 hrs one visit at Nissan of Troy waiting for an engineer to check out vehicle,
unable to compare with Like vehicle, nothing done.. 9 Hours in lunchroom
Nissan of Macomb, ALL of them know us by name Mike & Bev
Steering issue- does not drive straight down the highway, Slightest touch and off it goes in whatever direction you touched the steering wheel, and it will Not Recover, it will continue that direction until corrected.. DANGEROUS TO DRIVE
Nissan of Macomb, alignment one of 7 (with Hubcaps ON, broke a hubcap, Never replaced ), worse than when we brought it in
Received with 190 miles on it, a porter Drove it from Ohio to Michigan, rear quarter was caved in, sun faded front quarter plastic, steering wheel Kinked at least 30 to the left, headlights aimed straight up in the air, rear wipers didn’t work,, remote start didn’t work (still no labels even knowing it’s installed), approach lighting not working, cracked door sills and ripped rubber surrounds during Dealer installed options,
First 30 days of ownership, we were in possession of the vehicle for roughly 5 days, back n forth constantly and no one would repair the problems.. No One Would Help us, here’s your car see ya
Seven (7) Days leading up to a must drive to Florida, repeatedly phone calls to GM Cliff and service mngr Amere, No Call Back, no answer of phones, messages left ON THEIR DESKS by the service girls answering the phones, Nothing.. 4-5 times a day every day, it’s not easy for us to just pickup and drive an hour down there, disabled heart patient is always with us..
Nightmare drive all the way to Florida, the fatigue the stress, my hands Hurt holding on to the steering wheel.. 2 1/2 days of agony to get to our daughters wedding.. THEN as our time approached to drive home, we stopped at Nissan of Bradenton for an oil change, they Sold us a Kia to get home and kept our Kicks Sv at 12,700 miles, we didn’t want a Kia, we wanted our Kicks Sv fixed, they didn’t even offer to sell us into another one without defects..
Problem with that, we no longer have the vehicle in our possession to fight on buyback
We Had No Choice, we had to come home.. and now we are so Negative topsy turvy in debt, and this Kia drinks fuel like no tomorrow
Brand new car and absolutely No Center on steering down any straight road, if road curves and your following curve the steering wheel will Stay turning the curve, must correct travel path constantly, very dangerous to drive and driver fatigue sets in Fast.. Drivability Concern HIGH.. Dealership has no clue what we are talking about, owner found steering gearbox not properly adjusted from manufacturing, adjustment too tight, steering gearbox is always loaded with zero play.. Recommend 1/4 turn relief on gearbox adjustment screw.
