I have discovered through internet sites that the 2003 Murano is plagued with very serious problems beyond the alternator situation. My first alternator occurred with less than 10,000 miles. I have contacted an attorney that has contact with other Murano owners, it appears that Nissan could care less what is happening to their customers.
