Overdrive in transmission makes car downshift or up shift causing major issues while driving! loss of control, accidents.... blown transmission at this point
Now on our 2nd radiator/transmission issue with our Nissan Pathfinder, the original repair was under warranty, but now experiencing same issues again. With both instances the car was being driven when issues occurred. Fortunately, the location to the repair shop is close. Our Pathfinder is currently in a repair shop under going diagnostics.
When slowing to a light at a very low speed ( approx. 5 mph), there was a grinding or rubbing sound. The ABS, vdc off and slip lights came on. According to the manual this means that there is one or more issues with the traction control and/or ABS brake system. I saw that there have been recalls on this for 2006 and 2008 models so I assume there is also an issue with 2007 ones.
