CarComplaints.com Notes: While there are fewer "radiator leaked into transmission" complaints for the 2008 model year, they are starting to pile up. Buyer beware.

Nissan has extended their radiator warranty on 2005-2010 Pathfinders to 8 years/80,000 miles. However the average mileage for transmission failure for earlier model years is 95,000 miles, which conveniently (for Nissan) is just past the limit of their extended warranty. Owners beware.

Cooper tire - discover cts - manufactured 4209 - as I was driving down the road, heard a loud sound like a shotgun - and tire lost air. Sidewall of tire appears as though it was sliced with a knife. There was no pothole in the road or other visible defect that would cause the tire to rip.

My Nissan Pathfinder is a 2008, the vehicle has 23,000 miles on it. It is now Feb. 1, 2010, and there is very little tread left. I have very young children and I am concerned that the tires will cause an accident due to lack of tread or fear of a blowout. The tires are bf goodrich radial long trail T/a P265/65R17.
