Rodents carry nuts into ac/heat duct, which rattle when fan turned on. Nissan says "its environmental problem, not warrantied. Have called Consuner affairs!! Would get more intelligence talking to my dog (hes been dead 10 yrs). Fan vibrates badly. Dealer sez its "debris in fan blade". Nissan refuses to admit there is a problem, although it is common When I first took the veh, in the service person said :Oh, you live where there are squirrels", which indicates they have had other occurances'.
I have written letter to Mary Baumgarden, senior manager , consumer aqffairs, also to Carlos Ghosn, ceo of nissan. No reply as yet. To add insult to injury, nissan sent me a brochure extolling their "air- scrubber system". Nissan quality is not in evidence, nor is customer care. I would never purchase another nissan product and would advise anyone contemplatig car purchse to avoid nissan like the plague!!!
