This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.

I have talked with Consumer Affairs @ Nissan and they are telling me they can't help me with the repairs. If you get on Nissan Rogue website, you will see that I'm not the only one with this problem. I can't open my driver side door from the outside. There are some comments that they can't open outside or inside on the driver side door. I just wanted someone to know about this problem before someone get killed because they couldn't get out of the vehicle. Thanks
2008 Nissan Rogue- both front door handles have completely failed and neither door can be opened from the outside. The only way to open the front doors is to climb in through the back doors and open from the inside.
Outside passenger door handle stopped working. Have been reading tons of complaints from other Rogue owners who are also having this exact same problem and Nissan is not honoring these defects and fixing them. This is ridiculous. At what point does a recall have to be issued when this problem is so incredibly prevalent?? we now have to open the door from the inside. Now we're just waiting for this to occur at some point on the driver's side as well!!!! apparently the linkages within the door handle mechanisms are faulty and "fall apart" is what I am gathering from everyone else's complaints. Please make this a recall. This is unacceptable.
