I took my car in to the dealer in July, it was making a winding noise, they started off by saying I had to pay to have it research. I explain I would not because it was a transmission issue.( I could tell ) of course I was right and they changed the CVT but after I got it back I noticed my car was driving sluggish and would not take off if I came to a stop. Then someone told me my brake lights were not working. I called the dealer and the first words was " money" nope again I told them. They did came back with the brake light switch is bad. I told them I would get back with them.. They put on my work order, I was told of the problem and the danger as safety and to the transmission and I was refused service.. Yea right! Now I had to take it back to them. I am now waiting to see the out come and will post it once I take it in. I will be taking all the complaints I see here on site as a back-up that it is the transmission. Stay tune

NISSAN DEALERSHIP SAID THE 2008 ROGUE TRANSMISSION WAS SHOT THEY NEEDED TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION, IT WAS REPLACED FOR A TOTAL COST OF 4000 DOLLARS. AFTER 3 WEEKS I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN VIRGINIA, IT WAS RUNNING AND DRIVING VERY BADLY. THEY LOOKED AT IT AND SAID THE DRIVE TRAIN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED!!! ANOTHER $800 REPAIR.

MY ADVICE STAY AWAY FROM VICTORY NISSAN IN RICHMOND VA AND MOST IMPORTANTLY STAY AWAY FROM NISSAN ROGUES!!! THE QUALITY UNDER THE HOOD OF THIS CAR IS VERY POOR....IN MY OPINION NISSAN QUALITY HAS DECLINED OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS, THEIR CARS LOOK GOOD FROM A DISTANCE BUT WHEN YOU REALLY LOOK AT THEY WAY THEY ARE BUILT, THEY ARE PURE JUNK. IF YOU SURF THE INTERNET WEBSITES FOR NISSAN YOU WILL PLAINLY SEE NISSAN HAS SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH TRANSMISSIONS IN ALL THEIR CARS, CUSTOMERS AROUND THE PLANET ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME THING....NISSAN TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS.......

AS SOON AS I PAY OFF THIS ROGUE I PLAN TO GO NEW CAR SHOPPING AND I CAN ASSURE YOU I WILL NOT STEP FOOT ON ANY NISSAN DEALERSHIP LOTS.
