Do not understand why, but when I turned on my cell phone, the radio/nav screen returned. What is the connection between turning on my cell phone and this problem?

Update from Dec 18, 2017: The beginning of my complaint did not show. Started the engine and placed transmission in reverse. The backup camera was not working. In a few seconds, the entire radio/nav screen went black. Later when driving the same evening, I opened my cell phone to check for messages and the radio popped on and has worked ever since. Have an appointment with dealer in a couple days to investigate.

In the middle of driving and using the Navigation, the entire unit just went blank and rebooted and dropped the navigation that I had programmed. Will report to the dealer and see what they come back with.

Update from Jan 1, 2018: Went to dealer and have them checked and the found nothing. Told me the same thing that I read from the first guy posting to see if I can recorded video of it happening which I told him is difficult if I am supposed to drive and pay attention to the road.

Had the Rouge a month then noticed the nav and radio sometimes didn't work when starting the vehicle. No music no nav then sometimes came on by its self halfway through a trip. It got worse it stopped working for days then started again. took it to the dealer and service people checked all the codes, no problem codes showed. The unit was working at the time of testing, two hours later it stopped. went back to the dealer with pictures of blank screen, car running, and two hours later told the unit needs to be replaced. It's been a week, still no unit.
