I was stopped to turn left on a main road, when a tractor trailer rear ended my car and then slide it sideways, hitting the side of the tractor trailer. The tractor trailer was leaning on my car. None of my airbags went off. Both seats broke, and both the headrests flew off during the crash. The driver seat even twisted to the right.
My vehicle was in motion on a city street with no pot holes no other vehicles were around and my airbags deployed all on their own. No accident occurred.
The air bag light on the dash stays on every time I drive & the passenger air bag light also always stays on indicating that the passenger air bag is off even with an adult sitting in the seat. Not sure if is an electrical issue with the wiring or an air bag sensor.
When making a U-turn on a city street my vehicle suddenly accelerated on it's own at full speed sending my car into a tree. The tree stopped the vehicle. None of the air bags deployed. I got a head injury and went to the er via rescue squad. Many people were in the area, luckily no one was hit. Attached are some photos of the damaged vehicle. Consumer stated contacted Nissan and described to them what happened. Consumer told the dealer that he wished for them to look into the software and try to find the problem. Consumer stated the car crash occurred on Friday July 26, 2019. The car was towed by dennis' towing & transportation. Their address is 13990 West lisbon road, brookfield, Wisconsin 53005 and their phone number is 1-262-781-5022. I removed my license plates from the Nissan Rogue on Tuesday July 30, 2019 and that was the last time that I saw the car. It was my understanding that the car was being transported to a salvage yard possibly somewhere in Chicago. I don't know that for sure. If you were to call dennis' towing & transportation they may be able to tell you where the car was shipped to.
Front passenger sun visor was closed on the glass side, during the crash air bags opened and pushed broke it to passengers face and caused serious damage on face with nose fracture, which wouldn't have happened even without airbags.

Brakes did not engage when braking. Was in bumper to bumper traffic let car in front of me to go a 1.5 car lengths before I took foot of the brake never hit the gas coasted until I was 1/2 a car length from the car in front of me and went to hit the brakes again and it did not engage causing me to hit the back of the vehicle in front of me. Meanwhile the airbags did not deploy even though impact speed was 2 mph I believe the airbags should have gone off with how far the hood got smashed.
Bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue August 23, 2017. In January of 2018, noticed water collecting under passenger seat. Dealership said drain plugs to sunroof were clogged causing the cabin floors to fill with water. Mold had begun to form and there was a possibility of the air bags being damaged. Have no idea when the faulty parts started to malfunction, or how long exposure to mold has been. Nissan says this is an environmental issue and that they are not responsible.
