The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Sentra. The contact was refueling the vehicle when gasoline began to spew back out of the filler tube. The vehicle would only allow approximately two dollars worth of gasoline before spilling. The contact stated the vehicle was repaired one month prior to the failure for the same defect. She was able to locate NHTSA campaign id number: 05V269000 (fuel system, gasoline: Storage) but was advised by the dealer that her VIN was not included. The vehicle was at the dealer where the contact was awaiting repairs. The failure and current mileage was 99,500.

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Sentra. While refueling the vehicle gas began to spill out of the fuel tank. The failure recurs whenever the vehicle get refueled. The manufacturer was notified and informed the contact his vehicle was not included in the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number 05V269000. The vehicle was not serviced. The failure and current mileages were 106,000. Updated 10/27/10.

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Sentra. When fueling the gas tank, excess fuel spills onto the ground. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. The dealer was contacted in reference to recall# 05V269000 ((fuel system, gasoline:storage). Since his vehicle identification number was excluded from the recall he would have to pay $400 for a remedy. No repairs were made. The failure mileage was 70,000. The current mileage was unavailable.
