The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that when driving various speeds, the fuel gauge reading would fluctuate even though the fuel tank was empty. The failure recurred despite the actual fuel level. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. There was a voluntary recall issued by the manufacturer that was related to the same defect. The contact's VIN was not included and the vehicle was not repaired. In addition, the air conditioning unit and heater would not circulate air properly through the vents when activated. There was also an abnormal clicking noise heard from the vehicle. There were also occasions when the air conditioner would independently shut off. The air conditioner blower motor was replaced by the dealer however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was unavailable.
