As I backed into a parking spot I proceeded to try to switch from drive to reverse to straighten out and the lever went floppy. I am stuck in drive with the emergency brakes engaged. The wires under the column shifter wore at just the right time to what appears would be the clock spring!!
My Titan has only 34617 miles on it and the power steering unit went bad and also sent metal shavings into the rack and pinion steering. I have to pay Nissan $1200 dollars to fix the power steering unit and try to flush out the metal shavings.if they can't flush out the system add another $2500 to replace the rack and pinion steering on my truck. $4000 to fix my truck with less than 35000 miles on it. This should not happen to a vehicle with low miles and has been well maintained and pampered since I bought it.I take very good care of this truck and Nissan should have to foot this bill! help!!!!
