while driving with 4 people in the truck rear seatbelts lock up and get very uncomfortable! So I stop and let them reset the belts and not too far down the highway the problem duplicates itself. In CA it's against the law to be unbuckled so I have to stop and get the rear passengers all buckled up again. The dealer has told me twice that this can't be fixed. This is the only vehicle that has acted this way in all my driving history; I've only been on the road for 45 years and this is not "normal". I'm thinking some pencil-neck engineer designed these things without even been on the road himself.
Update from Feb 24, 2011: I did go to dealer and talk with the nissan "rep". Got nowhere at this time except there was an education for me. If the seat belts get pulled out too far they will "lock-up". I'm still baffled at this time why my passengers cannot sit in the truck w/o the fear of being almost strangled cuz the the belts pull them back without warning!!
