Never in my life out of three Nissan's I've owned have I had such a crappy automobile.

Wasn't just the clutch, last year it was the exhaust, then rudder problems, as well, air conditioner (I can't even afford to fix) this car has cost me over $5500 since I bought it used two years ago. Never will I buy a cheap car again. Nissan this was a rip off.

I'm an older adult who has driven a manual transmission for over 25 years. I have a 2008 Nissan Versa with a burned out clutch, there not sure if the flywheel is damaged until they take out the clutch, so that could be an additional problem (1,700.00). The service engine light also comes on and they tell me it is faulty but I have to pay 300.00 to fix it. I've never had a clutch go in a car this new with only 57,000. From what I read, there are many complaints about the Versa's clutch and many people having the same problem as me. I've called Nissan and their customer service is non-existent. My next step is to go to the Better Business and file a complaint. From what I read there seems to be a problem with the cruise control system which will eventually burn out the clutch. Of course Nissan is not taking ownership. Beware, don't buy a Nissan Versa - the car is junk. More importantly, don't buy a Nissan anything. There customer services is among the worst ever.
