When I received a notice in the mail alerting me to the recall of my car for dangerous airbags (driver and passenger side) I called the dealer to schedule an appointment. I was told the parts had not been received and to check back in a few months. A few months later, I called the dealer again and was told they only had the passenger side airbag. When asked how much longer before both would be stocked, I was told a month or more. I chose to wait and have both replaced at the same time. Somehow, the plan got dropped and I had forgotten about the airbag recalls. That is until my horn stopped working, I checked the fuse and it's good to go. Landing by chance on this website brought the two issues together as others have reported the same issue, though, it isn't posted if the airbag was the cause for the horn to stop working. I'll schedule my car for the replacement of its airbags and report back.
