Transmission started slipping in July 2018. I added in Lucas transmission fix and changed the fluid which did nothing. By January 2019, the reverse gear went out. Then in February, the car wouldn’t roll backwards in neutral, even when the engine was turned off. At this point I knew I had to do something so I went for the cheapest solution, which was buying a used junkyard transmission for $500 and installing it myself, which I would highly recommend doing, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation with any make or model. After that, I had no transmission problems.
