Takata recall-reason for my complaint-I received the safety recall notice in August of 2014 stating that Toyota was currently preparing parts for my location and would send another notification once sufficient parts were produced and the remedy could be performed. I never received that second notification and it wasn't until I called my local Toyota dealer in January of 2015 that I was informed they were replacing the defective inflators. I feel Toyota dropped the ball in their follow up procedures concerning the safety recall involving the takata inflators. Having to wait 5 months before this was corrected was totally unreasonable and was due to lack of communication on the part of Toyota.
