Purchased this vehicle used in Jan 2008, hubcap fell off approximately 3 months later. Started noticing many (60%) of corolla's on the road missing hubcaps. Went to local dealership (springhill toyota) for unrelated service. There I questioned whether there was a problem with the corolla hubcaps. The representative said no. Checked on price of new plastic toyota hubcap. $120.00. I felt like dealership was aware of problem but just wanted to ignore me. Have since spoken with other corolla owners with missing hubcaps and they all said hubcaps have come off without any known reason. I wanted to gather some sort of support from similar customers but did not know how until I came across this website.
