Water pump went out. Which caused problems with the timing belt, and pistons. Engine is gone. I have to replace the engine for around $5000. Water pump gave no indication it was bad except for a little whine which sounded like a typical older engine noise. It had no leaks, no smell, no thumping or loud noises that would raise any alarms for me. I have had water pumps go out on me in the past, and I knew what was wrong. Not this time. I was actually on my way to my mechanic to have him look at it(just in case) when it went out! I'll never own another Toyota again.
