A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

Hi. I am a customer of Toyota Attrell located in Auto Mall Brampton. From the day first, these people have harassed me like anything. Day one: June 2009. I went to just have a look at the cars and the offers and they told me that I have to give my credit card to them so that they can check my credit report and what they did was that they swiped my card for 1000 dollars and hence I was in their trap. Then they told me that my credit has been declined by Toyota but they will try to figure out something. I asked about they refund of the money and they said that they cant put 1000 $ back on my credit card, but they can give me a post-dated check, but I wanted my money back. So I kept following these guys and after 3 days manager told me that Bank of Montreal has approved my credit. It was surprise to me that Toyota declined but Bank of Montreal approve my credit, how come? The answer I got to know when they told me about the interest rate of BMO and that was 7.9% p.a.

Having no other options, I opted to buy from them and hence I became so-called proud owner of Toyota Corolla CE 2010 as I was in middle of process of starting my own business in Brantford. After all this bitter experience, I forgot this anyhow and moved to Brantford. Now few days back after all the sticky gas pedal thing, I went to Hogewoning Toyota here in Brantford and I got my gas pedal changed but the service people over there told me that I need to get my Rubber Foot mats changed as these were GENERIC foot mats provided to me by Attrell Toyota and I have to go only to Attrell Toyota to change them. These people, at Hogewonning were very helpful and nice to me, and also they gave me in written a message for Attrell Toyota that GENERIC RUBBER FOOT MATS needs to be changed as they are way big as compared to the genuine TOYOTA rubber mats, as per the norms. So, yesterday I went from Brantford to Brampton to Attrell Toyota to just get the RUBBER FOOT MATS changed, where I was kept waiting for good 50 minutes for nothing as there was hardly any customer inside and salesguy were busy on their computers. I kept waiting but in the meanwhile I thought to check with the service guy over there. This guy, I think, was having some fight with his wife at home or something else, as he was so rude, as I asked him that this is the letter i got for you from Hogewonning, and what his reply was that it was not his concern or duty, and added that these rubber mats might have been given you FREE/COMPLIMENTARY by the salesperson who sold you this car, so this aint my duty. Well said. After that I went to manager over there and he told me that RUBBER MATS are not at all problem for anything and it was only gas pedal which is creating problem. This was a NEWS for me as for last 3 months or so, we are reading and listening in news that gas pedal as well as RUBBER MATS, both are causing problem. Anyways, the solution he gave me that "Take this rubber mats to PARTS department and they will make "two holes" at the bottom of mat and then you can put your mat into the clips provided in the floor of the car. Well, then I asked this manager that by now I was alone driving this car, but now I am expecting my family to come so I want to trade in my COROLLA with a Sienna, and what his reply was, that this is not the right time to trade in, but when I insisted, he quoted the price of my 2010 Corolla, 15249 kms done, at 11 to 12,000 dollars, and I was looking at him like a dumb and awestruck because the car for which I paid more than 22,000 dollars, and within only 7 months, it has lost half of its value, and that too when I am getting the quote from Toyota itself and trying to trade in my Toyota vehicle with a Toyota vehicle only. When I asked him, he said first we dont have any Sienna here and 2nd thing I wont advice you to do trade-in at Toyota and rather go at some other dealership where you can get good price because other dealers will get 5000 trade-in discount which they can pass on to you. Well said again.

I went to Parts guy and he put two holes in the same GENERIC RUBBER MAT for me and I came back with the thought that WHAT A SERVICE PROVIDER they are. I spent 1.5 hour going from Brantford to Brampton and wasted my 2 hours at Toyota and all I got is TWO HOLES in the rubber mat. I could have done this by myself within a minute or so, if I have been properly guided. Now this is truth that these rubber mats are really way too large for a Corolla as I guess these are meant for either Camry or some other vehicle but they denied this fact completely.

Now my question is that is this is the service I expect from Toyota, esp. at the time where Toyota is struggling for its reputation? I am also a businessman and I literally know what CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is and I provide 200% satisfaction to my customers. We too get complaints from the customers but we dont treat them like the way I was treated. So, I humbly request you to give me a reply to all this, otherwise I have to seek Consumer Court's help to ask you these questions in the court. I have all the written proof of what I was told to do and what these guys at Attrell Toyota did with me. Expecting a quick reply from you as I think and I hope that you guys wont let me down.

Regards

Pankaj
