I've had not problems until one day I went to my car after work and noticed a gold patch by the hood. I thought something had blown on it. I checked closer and noticed it was the undercoat of the blue paint color. When I got home my husband came out and noticed the paint was peeling around all the openings of the car (doors, trunk hood), the spot on the top of the hood is the most noticeable. I have two years left to pay on this car and thought it would carry me through after retirement. Who wants to pay on a car that looks like crap??
I took it to the dealer (I still have all my maintenance done there even though out of warranty). I reported the problem. The manager took pictures and filed a complaint. He said they'd had problems with the white corollas not colored ones. He told me that "hopefully there would be a recall after first of the year"
I just want to know if this is happening to other people and what can be done.
