This vehicle was bought with 13 miles and babies from the dealership never exceeding 3k rpm until after the vehicle had over 1000 miles on it. It is still driven extremely conservatively, yet already is having a really harsh jolt / jerk sensation randomly from 20 to 42 mph. The dealer said this was likely the torque converter but it’s definitely not normal and no other test drives of new vehicles do this. They said they cannot check the transmission fluid in a cvt. They also couldn’t replicate the problem as it’s intermittent. Currently awaiting resolution, if not, arbitration, and then a lawyer if they can’t fix this without me being out extra $$$. I will ensure nobody in the family or that I know buys a Toyota if they can’t make this right. Seriously. Most unreliable brand I’ve ever dealt with.
