Static noise is coming from the stereo, and the pitch rises when I accelerate. Contacted Toyota customer server who escalated to CSM at dealership who said it was a problem with all limited model Highlanders but not with lower end models. (doesn't make sense). She could not help so it was escalated to the Dist Mgr. who said the same thing as the CSM and that he couldn't do anything to resolve the problem and that he was sorry, Toyota had no fix for the problem. Called him back the next day and said sorry isn't good enough, that a new car should not be having this problem and if it were his new car he wouldn't accept it either. Told him to work it out with JBL and that he shouldn't just tell his customer's "SORRY", and that I would take it to arbitration to have it resolved.
You don't go out and buy an expensive car to be told that you have to live with its inherent flaws.
