The contact owns a 2017 Toyota Highlander. Upon purchase of the vehicle, the contact stated that an abnormal, clicking noise would emit from the front, passenger tire without warning. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and was informed that the wheel bearings needed to be replaced. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer where it was purchased, Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Huntington Beach(19131 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92648), and was informed that they could not find any fault with the vehicle. The contact also stated that the vehicle stalled as she attempted to make a U-turn, an unknown warning message appeared on the instrument panel. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V682000(Fuel System, Gasoline). The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was purchased; however, they could not replicate the failure. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 67,500.
