The sticker promises 28mpg both city and highway. I have never gotten better than 26 and usually worse. I was told when buying this that I could easily expect 32 highway and as high as 36. The dealer says the car works fine. They say it is due to a) winter gas or b) wind resistance. To me this is purely a case of bait and switch. I don't feel that I have recourse. I hope Toyota would be dinged by the government for this and made to give back some money.
