First noticed vibration in my 2014 Prius (Two model) just after the 3 year anniversary. Thought it was tires out of balance. Wasn't that. Toyota dealer said it could be the alignment. They checked and one wheel was a couple degrees out of correct setting. They fixed it and charged me $110.00. Still vibration.

Took it back to the dealer a couple months later and had them go through it again. They rotated the tires to see if the would make a difference. It didn't. They said they couldn't find any vibration. Then they even put a new set of tires on it from a new 2018. They said they could not find any vibration.

Total denial.

I took the car to an authorized Toyota automobile repair shop. They came back with two "technical service bulletins". TSB 002716 and TSB 011615 that indicated vibration while driving was caused by ERG valve. The Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve can get clogged and cause problems including vibration and reduced fuel efficiency.

I'm going back to the dealer and confront them. It might be strong enough for a lemon law to force them to fix or take the car back. Stay tuned!

Update from Apr 2, 2018: Back to dealer (March 2018) still insists they can find no vibration coming from the engine. MPG has dropped from 45-46 mpg to 37-39 MPG.
