CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 RAV4's top complaint is that the navigation screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight.
While certainly an annoyance, it's not a big deal in the world of car problems. Luckily the fix is a $10 anti-glare screen cover.

My 2013 RAV4 Limited A/C heater Damper door is stuck closed and get cold air on driver and warm air on passenger. Toyota says they have to replace whole heater cabinet to fix this, 3500 dollars total. This is so stupid to put the A/C cabinet in the dash so you have to take dash and console out to replace the Cabinet. They wont just repair the door that is stuck. They want to replace the whole unit. I will not buy another Rav Four period . I will be calling a Lemon Lawyer. Only had this used car 6 months and already got to spend 3500 dollars so they say to fix. This is criminal and Toyota should be made recall and fix this problem !!!
