CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 RAV4's top complaint is that the navigation screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight.

While certainly an annoyance, it's not a big deal in the world of car problems. Luckily the fix is a $10 anti-glare screen cover.

I think Toyota should pay for the paint job that needs to be fixed. I bought it as a certified Toyota RAV4 at the dealership and 2015 with 55,000 miles on it – an XLE. I think Toyota should pay for the paint job that needs to be fixed. I bought it as a certified Toyota RAV4 at the dealership and 2015 with 55,000 miles on it – XLE. They are giving me an estimate that it would cost close to $1900 to get fixed because the roof and the two railings have to be painted.

I am a schoolteacher and single mom - I do not have money to spend on painting my car, especially when it was a bad factory job by Toyota. I have gotten several paint estimates from other paint paint body shops in Houston and they’re all telling me it was a bad factory job or the paint would not be peeling. Toyota needs to fix the problem. The money should not come out of my pocket. I still make payments on the car. It has not been in a wreck or been in the midst of a hail storm. A car that is a little over five years should not have paint peeling. A garden hose makes the paint come off more when and if I get it washed. It is just totally ridiculous. I have googled other images of Toyota RAV4’s and it has happened to 2009 vehicles, 2010 vehicles with us, and 2011 vehicles, 2012 vehicles.... A recall should happen and Toyota should fix it.

Update from Jun 28, 2018: Toyota should fix the problem.
