CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 RAV4's top complaint is that the navigation screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight.
While certainly an annoyance, it's not a big deal in the world of car problems. Luckily the fix is a $10 anti-glare screen cover.

The vehicle brakes do not feel engaged immediately. It tends to surge forward before slowing down. Needs to Press twice to get quick response. The situation was reported about a week later to Toyota. I would mention it at each oil change. The brakes were serviced by Toyota. No difference. It seems the Caliper is not suited for the vehicle. at 50,000 K, the brakes are hardly worn and feel soft still.
