CarComplaints.com Notes: What the heck happened here? A year after getting our "seal of pretty good" for the 2004, Chrysler turns around and delivers this crapwagon.

This minivan has problems ranging from rack and pinion steering failure to door locks that won't let you out. And trust me, you'll want to get out.

Several times already some electrical components would stop working: Radio, Panel, A/C, Electrical Doors, Brake lights, etc.

took the car to the dealer and said nothing found.

Happen already 4 times in hot days.

Only solution I found.. Disconnect the battery and reconnect... VERY ANNOYING

Town & Country Limited 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

This problem is exactly the same as that described already in this forum. Many electrical functions do not work - overhead computer; brake light stays on; radio does not work; cigarette plug; heater and AC/fan; electric seat heater. This is new to me, but very flakey

Sometimes when I start it the trac off, abs and brake warning lights stay on. When that happens the climate control (no heat or air), heated seats, and the overhead computer don't work. This may happen several times in one day then not do it for a few weeks. Every time I've tried to take it in it starts working before we get it in. Of course it acts up when it's very hot out (no air) or when it's very cold (no heat). The dealer is no help. I've had several other problems and everytime a new thing happens I tell my wife to remind me to never buy Chrysler again.
