This is the forth time this has happen in the last three months. On February 9th as light change to greenjust started to move and bam.full throttle.
Then on April 1st, after being stopped at red light waiting for green, I proceeded to make a left turn. Going at a crawl all of a sudden my van lurched full throttle causing me to go up a curb. Tried holding back with brake but to much power. Quickly put in park and shut off key. Restarted..no problem. Cruse Control was disconnected when it happened April 1st.
Once (in reverse) backing out of garage. Three times van had been running approx 30 minutes. Backing up out of garage van had just been started.
Most recent May 4, 2008..Crawling from light NOT touching gas and Wham full throttle. Dealer never heard of this problem. Dealer test drove for 400 miles, problem did not happen. Put on "monitor" May 22, 2008 7,500 miles, if surge happens again it should get recorded and hopefully find problem. Now has approx 7,500 miles.
