The listed instance is only the most recent. Bought the van in December 2016 and suddenly one day out of nowhere I pulled out of a parking lot and it wouldn't shift out of first gear. Panic set in. We pulled over and I turned it off, gingerly started again, and it's fine. Happens randomly now every few months. Have had mechanics look at it, have had transmission serviced and inspected. NOTHING HELPS.

This is not the van's only problem. Many of the electrical misbehavior listed throughout Mr. Internet like flashing lights and random crazed windshield wipers have plagued this thing. Thank heavens the engine hasn't shut off at odd times nor the horn blaring in the middle of the night. But this is just so FRUSTRATING.
