The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was white smoke coming from underneath the hood of the vehicle, and the vehicle would not properly accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal. The check engine light warning light illuminated, and the low coolant message was displayed. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V209000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 30,000.
