I bought the car brand new. In less than 2 years the car started showing sign of the paint peeling and fading. It wasn't because it stayed in the sun all the time. It was stored in home garage. The inside of the car it is 2009 and it still looks really good. Only the outside makes its look like the age that it really is. I'm writing to see is there a recall on the paint job for the 1996 Honda Accord. As I look around and see the other Honda accord of 1996 I see they are all doing the same thing. I'm hoping that there is going to be a recall on this vehicle because it is a good car and isn't giving me any trouble only the paint job. In this economy, can't afford to get another one when there is nothing wrong but need a good paint job and it is expensive, the cheapest I've seen for a good paint job was @ about $5,000.
