I came down my lane and went to stop and the brake pedal went to the floor. My son and I were not wearing seat belts as we were stopping to put trash in dumpster. I yelled that the car is not stopping and we cross over the gravel road and hit the ditch enbankment. He hit the back of the passenger seat breaking his nose. I hit the windshield and did a number on my neck and lower back.
$2200.00 in front end damage. Honda told me to call my insurance because it was not their problem because no problem was found. I find that is what all the invoices they give me say.. Is that the only keys they have not their computer. I guess that is why they look so good they never find the problem. My son does not want to ride in the car anymore. I have had a lot of little problems with my car from day one. This is a big one and I was told to drive it . It was fine but no one at the dealer or honda wanted to drive it for a week or 2 to see if it had the problem. I feel honda should of stepped up and help me out of this car or help with the repairs. I am scared to drive this car. Not there problem, call your insurance. If I get killed or kill someone else because the brakes quit again they will have to deal with more than this one person. I went to a honda because I was told they treat customers good and the quality in their cars, well that has not been proven to me. I have not seen anything great about either. I did like the gas mileage and the cars body style, but just to many little things they would not fix. I complained about the brakes at 3,000 miles. No problem I would think it was just me but my fiance drives the car and has had problem with the power outlet not working the key not coming out and I had that too. I left the keys in it once I tried for 5 minutes to get them out. I moved the shifter and I started it and shut it off and I moved the steering wheel. I just left them in it and said if it is not there when I get back well i had one less problem. If any one else has had brake problems I hope you told honda!

The park brake fails to keep the vehicle on an incline for long periods in some conditions. When the rear rotors get hot and expand and the park brake is applied, then it starts to fail once the disks cool down. The back rotors gets thinner after cooling and the pads loose grip, causing the vehicle to run away.
