this is adding on to multiple issues with this car. My left rear wheel bearing needs to be fixed. I am truly starting to believe my nissan was very poorly made with very cheap parts
Car will not track straight. Most notable on highway at any speed. Takes 3 to 5 steering adjustments to line vehicle with center line of road. It's like standing on a ball. Vehicle drifts left or right to lane hash marks in 3 to 5 sec. Driver is constantly making adjustments to keep vehicle out of other lanes. Driver is physically worn out after 1 hr of driving. I have a 2000 plymouth grand voyager with 220,000 + miles and a worn out rack in pinion that pulls slightly to right that is easier to keep straight than this car.
At highway speeds, the 2013 Altima wanders all over the road. When driving above 70 MPH it just does not hold a straight line and requires continuous adjustments to keep the car in one lane. It is very tiring to drive and possibly dangerous. Nissan had four opportunities to identify the problem and fix it. Because it seems to be an inherent problem in the new electro-hydraulic steering system, they have no fix. They just told us to get used to it.
