I contacted Chevrolet and they said that they had recalled 1995 and 1996 models for this problem. This is a safety problem because you don't know when these wipers will stop!
Windshield wipers stop intermitently - at random points - manually moving the wiper blade makes them restart. This is a major safety issue at highway speed in a Florida rainstorm.
The wipers have intermittent problems. You will turn them on with no results. Turning it on a couple more times in quick session will prove useless. Turn them on at a later time and they will work. This sounds simular to another recent GM recall. Please check out.
