sister was driving the car at 45 when the sensor cracked down the middle and sprayed all the oil out, (she's not too smart) she didn't know it had cracked and by the time she got home smoke was pouring out from under the hood, it was lucky as hell she was about a minute from the house when it happened because when i went to drain the oil it dripped about 5 times and stopped so it was bone dry. i was unaware as to what had caused it so we just refilled it with new oil (it was already due for a change hence my reason for drainng what was left) and went to start it, thats when i noticed the sensor was spraying out oil on the bottom side, we went and got a replacement for a believe 15 dollars and fixed the whole problem in a matter of minutes, easy fix but could of lead to a complete destruction of the engine if she hadnt been so close to home, since we replaced it it has had another problem where it went from reading regular oil pressure to extremely high to extremely low, the sensor is just bad the oil pressure is actually fine, like i said easy fix but could of been our worst nightmare
