We bought our 2005 Chevy Equinox used in September 2011. Almost right away we noticed that sometimes, not every time, the key wouldn't turn in the ignition to start the car and that when it did start it dragged. The keys have also been able to be removed while the car is running. One time the key wouldn't turn to start the car for almost 20 minutes. Being stuck like that, I was almost in a sheer panic-frantic mode when trying to pick up my daughter from school and worrying about her getting stolen by someone before I could get there, actually in tears by the end of the ordeal. Needless to say this is more than NOT COOL it's also NOT SAFE!
