Radio dead. All other electrical aspects of vehicle were functional. However radio would not turn on or display the time or data. Lights on the radio light up but no output. I researched this issue and I found this a somewhat common issue that owners have had across the country with model years 2007-2009 Equinoxs. I am having the dealer replace unit even though it decided to work again they mentioned that the unit has a electrical short within the unit and that it could affect the other electrical aspects of the vehicle.
