When I purchased the vehicle I was told there would be a software release to add the features of MyLink. My radio presently does just about everything with the exception of streaming audio. I read on the Chevy website that all 2012 Equinox vehicles were equipped with MyLink and have had numerous emails with Chevrolet services with totally conflicting results. I have all the emails to this day.
I attempted to have the software updated and was told my radio wasn't the correct one so I can't get MyLink. I told them I'd purchase the correct radio and was told it's factory and can't be purchased and if I buy it from a 3rd party it would void the warranty. They asked where I found this information, on the Chevy site...to this day it's still there.
Chevy broke my trust and I don't think I'll buy from them again. I have since asked to join a lawsuit about this subject
