So we traded in our 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan and bought a 2005 Chevrolet Impala in March of 2008. The dealer sold it to me for 13K, with only 20K miles. I thought it was a steal! The night i bought it home, i noticed it took longer than usual to start. I thought maybe because it sat on the dealers lot for quite sometime, it just needed to get going again. WRONG! A week and two days after driving off the dealers lot, I went to the grocery store, got back in my car and this time, it didn't start. Just kept turning over. It was already after closing time, so I had to leave it there overnight and wait for the dealer to pick it up the next day. Thats when they told me the fuel pump went out. Pretty lame for only having 20K miles. But i guess thats what i get for buying a used car....but really?
