This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Every time I turn the heat from the air conditioning, and vice versa, it makes a loud click clacking sound that lasts for about a minute or two and is loud enough to be heard inside and outside of the car. Very embarrassing. Others that own a similar vehicle have had the same issues.
Chevy blend door actuator has failed twice. Currently on my third actuator. Causes a clicking noise in the passenger side glove compartment area. Occurs when ever the ac mode is changed, the incar/outside car air is changed or when car is turned off. The clicking lasts for a few moments. Seems to be a possibility of fire or flying parts from broken gears.
The heat only blows warm air during acceleration. Once idle, the warm air turns ice cold. My car went to the dealership multiple times to be repaired and every time, it would work properly for a few days then go back to not working. After the 3rd "fix" (the "fix" was something different every time), the dealership told me I just must know not how to work my heat because I "keep breaking it". this is a known issue on this vehicle and even the dealership does not know how to correctly repair the problem!!
