This 2008 Impala has been one problem right after another. This is my first GM vehicle and my last.
Purchased the vehicle with 17000 miles. Soon after that, both head gaskets blew. I have had to replace 3 actuators, 2 for air vents in the dash and 1 for a rear door auto. lock. I now have the other rear door actuator bad. I have not had it replaced, because the dealership wants $400.
The front end shakes when applying the brakes down hill. The dealership told me that that was normal. It can't be normal! Now the brakes will not completely release after stopping. When enough gas is applied, it lunges forward.
Like I said, "no more GM products for me!" No way! I wrote to GM. They gave me a $1,000 voucher for my next GM car. Won't happen!
