Recently purchased 2010 Chevy Impala LTZ from dealer - 10,000 miles on car. Have driven for 1,000 miles - 500 mixed (city and country) and 500 highway. Used 87 octane (no ethanol added) fuel. Expected 24 mpg for mixed driving only obtained 20.5 mpg. Expected highway 29 MPG - only obtained 25 MPG. This was flat interstate through IN, IL, and WI. Cruise was set at 67 MPH and very light traffic. Car runs fine other than the low fuel economy - no dash lights or mechanical problems observed.
